Gone Surfin is a fully accredited learn to surf school and board hire service run by Doug Kitchingman and his staff. We have classes at Secret Harbour surf beach - which is a 45 minute drive from Perth and is one of the safest learn to surf beaches in Western Australia.


$30 - give it a go!



Some people aren't sure about surfing and dont want to pay for a whole surfing course up front. For $30 you get to try surfing for 1.5 hours with all gear provided. If it's not your thing then at least you've given it a go without outlaying big dollars on surfboards & wetsuits etc.

Doug & his team have had over 30 years experience in surfing and surf coaching with an impeccable safety record. Gone Surfin Surf School takes advantage of Secret Harbour’s excellent surf beach to ensure the most enjoyable lessons are available with various degrees of difficulty from beginners to advanced surfers.







$10 - board hire for 1 hour

$17.50 - board hire for 2 hour


These prices include wetsuit hire.

Wetsuits can be hired separately for $5 per hour.



We supply user friendly soft surfboards that are easy to balance, paddle and stand on. All equipment is provided at no extra cost in the lessons.
We advise you on what equipment you need for your height, weight and surfing ability to ensure each time you surf it is to your ultimate potential. If you can't find the right equipment yourself, then we will use our extensive knowledge of the local surf industry to help find it for you.
